TEHRAN - The 11th meeting of the Tehran Chamber of Commerce, Industries, Mines and Agriculture (TCCIMA)’s Business Environment Improvement Committee was held on Saturday during which the World Bank’s new project called “Business Readiness” was reviewed.

In this meeting, Mehrad Ebad, a member of the TCCIMA board of representatives, provided some information about the World Bank Business Readiness Project and said: “For more than 10 years, the World Bank has been evaluating the business environment of the countries under the frame work of a scheme called Ease of Doing Business, and three years ago, this scheme underwent some changes due to the lack of transparency and problems it had and now the new scheme that is Business Readiness is being considered.”

“The TCCIMA Business Environment Improvement Committee has decided to carry out some activities in line with this scheme,” he added.
